Typing ppeed vs. jams

On my Royal Quiet Deluxe, the typebars jam whenever I speed up. Is this just normal vintage charm, or can it be fixed?

Totally fixable! On Royals, fast‑typing jams usually mean the segment slots are a little dirty or the typebars aren’t returning fast enough. A careful brush‑out and some denatured alcohol usually brings the speed back.

@bakedfri3s That’s definitely fixable. Give the segment a good clean with a brush and some alcohol, and the typebars should stop sticking.
