Bell not ding-ing

My Olympia SM3 works great, but the bell doesn’t ding at the end of the line for some reason. I really like that sound. Is it still fixable? thanks in advance!

My mom has this and had the same issue. you can check the bell hammer, hers was sticking from old grease. A careful clean and re-oil brought it back. Definitely fixable!

Yep, totally fixable. I’d start where @sederginne_08 mentioned, old grease on the bell hammer is super common on SM3s. A gentle clean usually brings that ding right back.
