My Olympia SM3 that types great, but the slugs are gunked up with old ink around the letters. I tried alcohol and a toothbrush but it’s still stuck.. What’s worked for you?
I had old ink buildup too. I used a mix of vinegar and water with a soft brush. It's surprisingly effective! Just make sure to dry the slugs well after cleaning so they don’t rust. I also type a few lines after cleaning to make sure everything’s flowing right.
