Alan checking in. Anyone else enjoy writing as quiet time?

Well, that thing about having not as much time as you used to is normal and totally understandable. Cheer up! Glad you're still writing despite everything being so fast-paced.

Daily journaling with the typewriters has been incredibly therapeutic since I started doing it last August, after watching "California Typewriter" and realizing I may have new hobby, lol. Great typing practice too - I've gotten incredibly sloppy with all the computer typing over the decades.

That’s awesome. Journaling on a typewriter really does slow things down in a good way, and yeah, it definitely exposes all the bad habits we pick up from keyboards.
I agree w Alan. Sometimes we have less time, but I try to type/write a little each day….
Nice to know you still take some of your sweet time to write every day. What a good habit! I'll wait till next year to include that to my resolution. Haha!

I write often but I use my computer because I worry about running out of ribbon or my machine breaking, I still use it pretty often tho just less then 700 or so characters,
