format advice using Royal Safari typewriter

I just bought an old Royal Safari III in great condition. It’s a manual return, and the previous owner said that it's from the 1980s.
I bought it because I need to write a screenplay for my English class, my prof said he’d give me extra credit if I wrote it with the typewriter in the correct format. The thing is that I don’t know what format the typewriter needs

the royal safari III has a pica typeface (10 characters per inch) and a tabulator. try to set your margins, then set tabs for the character name and a tab for the dialoge block, and you're ready to go

actually, screenplay format is something you can look up easily online to get the size of the margins and tabs

Once your tabs are set, the rest will be simple
Grab some correction tape or whiteout. It will be your best tool
Keep in mind that dialogue blocks are narrow, and typing them will feel strange at first because they are so brief.
It might take a couple of tries to get comfortable, and you could sacrifice a page or two along the way, but that is part of the adventure. I have written several full length screenplays entirely on a typewriter myself.
