I recently watched a super old YouTube video about proper typing technique. I think her name is Lenore Fenton MacClain, it’s from 1944. I thought I'd give the advice a try!
I'm a terrible typist (I use four fingers and a thumb!), but I followed one tip, whuch is Establish a steady rhythm
Seriously, that advice is gold! It instantly cut my typos in half, made the imprints more consistent, and I'm not even slower.
My mind is more focused on the writing. Slower really is sometimes faster! Give it a shot! I watched her on michael stow channel

Interesting! so rhythm actually improves imprint quality? I’ve only ever worried about speed. Did she mention whether this technique works best on manuals versus electrics?
